Finance Director – KREAB Brussels
About the position
We are currently seeking a Finance Director to join the KREAB team in Brussels. As Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function and all its underlying processes within the company. You will lead, direct, and plan the team’s work to ensure compliance with both internal and external reporting requirements.
Your role will involve leading and managing the finance function. In your capacity as the process owner for finance, you will have multiple contact points within the organization. You will also have external contacts such as customers, suppliers, banks, authorities, and auditors.
Key responsibilities:
- Budget and forecast
- Analysis and ensuring correct P&L
- Internal and external reporting
- Finance and bank related matters
- Project accounting
- Contact with authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders as required within the scope of the assignment
The position is based in Brussels. You will lead a team of three people and work to create a productive and well-functioning team where each individual thrives and takes responsibility. Additionally, you will be responsible for improving and clarifying existing processes and ways of working.
About you
To succeed in the role, you have previous leadership experience and a proven track record in financial analysis, budget and forecasting. You have a broad background in finance and experience in accounting/audit, as well as with financial statements, tax and VAT. In addition, you have experience in different types of reporting – ideally from an international company.
As a person, you are structured and have strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset and a collaborative attitude. You can manage projects independently and pay great attention to quality and development. In this role, international working experience is a great advantage. You are fluent in English, speak Swedish and ideally French or Dutch.
